Emilien Meyer is a Ph.D. student in Computer Engineering and Emerging Computing at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (ULL), where he also earned his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. During his undergraduate studies, he completed several hands-on engineering projects that laid a strong foundation for his current research in advanced computing systems.
His academic accomplishments have been recognized through numerous honors, including the High Achievement Award and the Academic Excellence Award. He is also a recipient of the Magnolia Scholarship and currently holds a graduate assistantship at ULL in support of his doctoral studies.
Beyond the classroom, Emilien is actively engaged in the broader engineering and research community. He is a dedicated member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and its Circuits and Systems Society (CASS), participating in both academic and professional development events.
Emilien has gained valuable industry experience through a range of internships, including roles as a substation engineer intern at Beta Engineering in Pineville, Louisiana, and as an electrical engineer intern at the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) in Patuxent River, Maryland. These experiences have enriched his perspective and continue to inform his academic work and future career aspirations.
