Emilie Rademakers

Welcome to my homepage. I am an assistant professor at the Utrecht School of Economics and an affiliated researcher of the Boston University's Technology and Policy Research Initiative

My primary field is labor economics. Specifically, my research interests include the implication of technological change for growth, inequality and employment;  job search models; online platforms; and job tasks. In addition, I work on imperfect competition in the labour market.

My work is funded by H2020 project GI-NI, which deals with the transformative impact of technology on skills in the labour market. Subscribe to our newsletter! Second, I receive financial support by the GAK foundation.

I completed my PhD at KU Leuven with a PhD Fellowship from the Flemish Research Foundation (FWO). During my PhD I have been a visiting researcher at Queen Mary University of London. You can find my CV here.
