When: June 28th, 8:00AM to 3:00PM (Rain Date July 12)

Where: Meet at EMC at 8am, Travel to Cook Forest Canoe Rental and Return to EMC at 3pm

Our Cook Forest Tubing Trip was a hit last year so we are bringing it back! Join us for a day on the water for a fun day trip! We will travel to Cook Forest, do a 2.5 mile tubing trip on the river, and then do a picnic lunch (pack a lunch) before coming home.

Cost: Free!

Come and join us for an under the sea adventure at SCUBA VBS this year! Kids ages pre-school to 5th grade will be attending VBS and we need lots of help! Come one night or come all five, it doesn't matter! You can help with an activity (crafts, music, snack, or games) or help with a specific age group. We will find somewhere for you to help!

When: July 9th, 9:00AM to 10:00PM

Where: Meet at EMC at 9:00AM, travel to Kennywood, and return to EMC around 10:00PM

Cost: $35

Another favorite summer event, our annual Kennywood trip! This year our trip will be July 9th.  We will spend the day at Kennywood, stop for food on our way home, and return to the church! Invite your friends for a great day!

When: July 20-26th

Where: Western North Carolina

Cost: $175

Each year our church takes a mission trip to somewhere within the United States and takes a group of students on the trip.  This year we will be going to Western North Carolina to areas hit by flooding from Hurricane Helene.  We also have scholarships available for students if the cost is a burden for your family! Please don't let that be an issue for coming on the trip!

Where: Meet at EMC at 10:00AM, travel to Yellow Creek, and return to EMC around 4:30PM

Cost: Free!

Grab your sunscreen, beach gear and get ready for our annual Yellow Creek Beach Day!  Don't forget to pack a lunch and bring snacks!  We might even stop for ice cream on the way home!

This year for our End of Summer Party, we are having a slip and slide and bonfire for a final celebration before the school year starts up in a few weeks! Don't worry, we will still have more fun before the summer ends, but we wanted to get our party in early! Grab your bathing suit and join us for a great night!
