This Privacy Policy explains what information EmberGaze ("the App") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. EmberGaze is a campfire visualization and relaxation app; it does not require an account and does not collect your name, email address, or phone number.

1.Information We Collect

• Locally stored preferences. EmberGaze saves your settings (selected scene, sound mixer levels, clock display options, and purchase status) on your device using local storage. This data stays on your device and is not sent to us or to any server we operate.

• Advertising data. EmberGaze displays ads through Google AdMob. AdMob and its advertising partners may automatically collect device identifiers (such as the Advertising ID / IDFA, subject to your device's tracking permission), IP address, and general app usage data to serve and measure ads. See Section 3.

• Purchase data. If you buy the ad-free upgrade or the VIP pass, the transaction is processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play Billing. EmberGaze does not receive or store your payment card details.

2.How We Use Information

• Locally stored settings are used only to remember your preferences between sessions.

• Advertising data is used by Google AdMob to serve and measure ads within the App, and to limit how often the same ad is shown.

• Purchase status is used to unlock ad-free mode or VIP scenes on your device after a successful purchase.

• We do not use any information to build a profile for purposes unrelated to operating the App.

3.Third-Party Services

Google AdMob (advertising) — policies.google.com/privacy

Google Play Billing / Apple In-App Purchase (payment processing) — governed by Google's and Apple's own privacy policies.

These third parties collect and process data under their own privacy policies, independently of EmberGaze.

4.Data Sharing

• We do not sell your data.

• We do not share your data with third parties except as necessary for the services listed in Section 3 (advertising and payment processing), which operate under their own privacy policies.

5.Data Retention & Deletion

All app preferences are stored locally on your device. Uninstalling EmberGaze permanently deletes this local data. We do not operate servers that store your personal data, so there is no separate deletion request process for locally stored settings.

6.Children's Privacy

EmberGaze is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age defined by applicable local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us using the details in Section 10 so we can address it.

7.Security

Because EmberGaze does not operate servers that store personal data, most of your information never leaves your device. We rely on the security measures provided by your device's operating system and by our third-party service providers (Section 3) to protect any data they process.

8.Your Choices

• Ad personalization. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings (iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking; Android: Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization) or through Google's Ad Settings at adssettings.google.com.

• App permissions. EmberGaze does not request access to your camera, microphone, photos, or location.

• You can stop all local data collection at any time by uninstalling the App.

9.Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when this page is updated, and the "Last Updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of EmberGaze after changes means you accept the updated policy.
