SPEAK UP!

We are calling on Washingtonians to come together and fight against the isolation of young girls seeking abortions. Not only are minors able to receive an abortion without parental notification or consent, but providers are restricted from notifying the parents, even if they are asked. This endangers young girls and infringes on basic parental rights. Minors cannot get a tattoo, obtain a license, or even sign a legal document for themselves without their parents' knowledge, permission, and presence. Why in the world is it the case that young girls can get an abortion completely behind their backs?
