George & Ariadni, the founders of Elysian, travelled the world trying out plant-based and Michelin-star vegetarian restaurants. The journeys around the globe expanded our culinary horizons and filled us with experiences that we wanted to share with all food lovers here in Cyprus. With the dream to bring some of the globally inspired dishes to our beautiful island, Elysian came into being.

Elysian Plant Based Kitchen Bar opened its doors in 2020 in the heart of Cyprus’ beautiful capital, Nicosia. We have created an elegant culinary sanctuary where everyone can enjoy simple, fresh and healthy food together with their beloved friends, colleagues and family.

The Elysian team wants to pave the way for a healthier, sustainable and harmonious lifestyle. We are on a mission to inspire the world with our homemade, plant-based and super nutritious delicacies without causing harm to other sentient beings with whom we cohabit our lovely planet. It’s no secret that plant-based food has the biggest benefit for our health, too! We choose to focus on quality and serve our guests with food that makes their taste buds sing. Part of our philosophy is to use locally produced ingredients, supporting Cypriot farmers. We also strive to create an ultimate sustainable experience by making sure no plastic comes in or out of our restaurant.

The year Elysian was born was one of the most challenging years in our living history. However, we choose to think positive at all times and take courage from our vision to bring about jobs, health and happiness while also creating a sustainable and ethical business. Our ultimate goal is to see everybody leaving Elysian with a smile on their faces and warmth in their hearts.
