Below is a list of public holidays and rollovers in Elsongia.
This page currently only displays federal public holidays for full-time workers; please speak to your local authority and your employer for the holidays that apply to you.
Public holidays that take place on a weekend or another public holiday are usually rolled over to the next weekday, unless there is a special decree to move it in a different manner.
Time zone depicted is either Elsongian Time ELT (UTC+0), or Elsongian Summer Time (UTC+1), depending on the time of year.
The below is checked to 6 January 2028; information after this date has not yet been confirmed.

Statute holidays are days where, under the Trading Standards Act 1997, it is illegal for persons in non-essential fields to work without a state or government licence.
The President has the right under the Workers' Holidays Act 1883 to declare a public holiday at any time before 04:00 on the day in question. This power may be used in the event of a major sport win or as an emergency contingency.
There is uncertainty around public holidays past 2028, as these have not yet been certified. The Public Holidays (Streamlining) Bill was proposed to the 40th parliament in May 2025, and will likely be re-proposed to the 41st. This bill, in its current form, would reduce the number of public holidays to 10 (excluding Second of January, Epiphany, Midsummer, Remembrance Day, and Boxing Day) in exchange for Good Friday becoming a Statute Holiday.
