The library features 7 kits along with 25 snares, 16 kick drums and approximately 250 electronic drum machine sounds. There are various mix-ready presets in multiple styles and 35 built-in sound effects.
The drum samples were performed by professional drummer Derico Watson and produced by Grammy-winning producer, Kenny Barto. The library contains 5.26GB of content featuring 60 sound presets, 90 grooves with 10 variations each, with 58 acoustic samples and 80 electronic layering sounds.

Superior Drummer 2.0 (or SD2) is a full production multitrack drum-sampling platform. SD2 utilizes thousands of drum and cymbal hits corresponding to different MIDI velocities to create a detailed yet user-friendly system for engineers and producers to create and supplement acoustic drums. Each session sold as an SDX pack for SD2 was recorded in a world-class studio with top tier engineers and drummers. I have downloaded the standalone software n it works fine n loads up in my daw(reaper) just fine. However, m confused bout the sound library. Today i downloaded the sound9.obw file which is about 1.6gigs n loaded that sound file on superior. N it showed an error that the library needs an update. N i must go to the toontrack product manager to update. So, i downloaded the sound library updator. So, when i finish downloading the core sound library, do i have to update the Library to make it work??
I haven't downloaded the entire basic library. I've only downloaded a sounds9,sounds17 n sounds21.obw till now. N i dont think that updating the libraries are mandatory cause i loaded metalheads on superior 3 n after loading metalheads the samples loaded just fine n everything was ok. I guess i will have to wait till i finish downloading the entire basic library

do you download obw only without core library. if downloaded obw only, previously installed first core library. and obw input on the sounds core library folder (SL-SuperiorDrummer 3). Obw basic from sounds1.obw to sounds23.obw
so that the sound library reads all, move the sound.obw to the basic sound library folder (located in the sound folder) for the basic sound.obw will start from soundb1.obw to soundb23.obw, if everything moves, you will have soundb150.obw sound.obw and 1 soundstat

I'm trying to download all the files, so far Ive downloaded the first 6 (top to bottom). The only thing I find strange is that I've already downloaded the core basic sound library, but it only comes with 2 sound files named "soundb1.obw" and "soundb9.obw". Is it suppose to be like that? I've already downloaded the Factory Software Room Mics 1 and it comes with "soundb.obw" files from 24-52, I hope it's all going well with my downloads, 'cause it's taking me ages, can you give me a little insight here?
for the basic library will have sound1.obw - sound23.obw, part 2 really has sound 24.obw - sound52.obw, just like a video folder. if you have incomplete sound.obw, check again when downloading. your fear is not right until it is finished or something is not checked.
I believe you aren't understanding my problem here. I have superior drummer 3 installed correctly and it's all working fine. The only problem is I don't know how to install the metal foundry, metal machinery and the new york vols. Can you tell me how am I supposed to do? I've watched your video but I can't understand this part of the process, what do I need to do?

Hello..i instaled SD3 and CORE library and all works fine..Now i start dowlowding others MICS librarys..so i download Room mics 1, and copy all sound to basic sound folder..but nothing happening, i still dont have new sounds at additional mics in SD3..So where is the problem?? i just copy all sound to the basic sound library and thats all..Should i do something more??? THanks

Hi thank you for link friend! I am having problems with the sound library. I installed SD3 with all updates, the basic library, and then metal foundry. I get a "no sound library found in selected directory" error when I select the folder with my sounds. Any ideas? I dont have EZdrummer, would that be the problem? the drumkit does not show up when i start SD3 either. thanks!!!
i have installed SD3 on my mac m1 and it was successful. Problem is the drumset does not appear and says "the requested sound library could not be loaded" i am downloading the basic sound library but the caption says "WIN" which is for windows. Will the sound library work on my mac?
@jeruken: The sound library can be used on both mac and windows. At least you download the core library so that it can be used, and the rest can be paid in installments up to 5 download parts. Unfortunately Tutorial Add library has been removed by youtube due to a violation. Maybe you can search on other youtube channels for tutorials. be457b7860
