Remote Online Notarization is where you can get your documents notarized without the in-person interaction, as this will be virtually done anywhere with just a computer with a webcam, smartphone (Android or iPhone) or a tablet.
First contact us using the RON Request form here. You can also send us an email to schedule a quick 15 minutes free consultation.
Once you have contacted us via call, text or email, we'll need you to provide us with the document by sending it as an attachment to our e-mail so we can review it and give you a services cost estimate.
As soon as you accept the estimate, we can proceed and schedule an appointment for the remote online notarization.
Then, you will receive an e-mail with a link to the platform where you are going to verify your identity. Follow the steps to upload a picture of your ID and answer the security questions provided.
Once your identity has been verified, you will be able to proceed to the meeting via webcam. This is all done in the same platform.
Then we will verify that all documents are filled out correctly and proceed with the notarization. And before we end the session, you will receive the information on where to submit your payment.
Once payment is submitted, we can proceed to complete the notarization session.
As soon as the notarization session is completed, you will receive your documents via email for you to download and print.
No, you don't need to download any apps or software. All you need is a browser like Chrome, Safari or Firefox. Although Chrome works best.
Yes, you can. But I only recommend it for taking pictures of your identification, as the phone cameras have the best resolution to take ID pictures.
We don't recommend you to use your phone for the notarization, but this is because you most likely will be receiving notifications from emails, text, social media and this may cause the connection to drop.
It is easier and more convenient if you use a laptop, desktop or even a tablet.
You need a laptop or desktop with microphone, webcam and audio speakers.
Your smartphone.
An internet connection of minimum 3 mbps or faster
You will need your document already prepared but NOT SIGNED and saved in a file to uploaded to the platform or you can send it to us via e-mail, so we can upload it into the platform that we are going to use for the notarization.
You must take a photo of your ID during the process. To get the best picture resolution of your ID, it is recommended that you take it with your smartphone. It must be straight on, not an angle. No flash, in good lighting, and the photo must be clear.
The platform that we are going to use for this process, will prompt you to take a clear picture of your ID.
It will also generate a series of questions commonly referred to as Knowledge Based Authentication (KBA). Where you need to answer 5 questions which seeks to prove the identity of someone. KBA requires the knowledge of private information of the individual to prove that the person providing the identity information is the owner of the identity. If your credit reports are frozen or locked for any reason, KBA will not function. Four out of five questions must be answered correctly within two minutes. Two attempts can be made within 24 hours.
For the KBA to work, you must:
-Be a U.S. Citizen
-Have a social security number
-Have a driver’s license or other state-issued ID (Passport will NOT work)
