Gamma MK2 Flight 1

UPDATE 1/8/25: Recovery of Gamma MK2 has been abandoned as the area it landed it make it too difficult to recover successfully. Next up, however, is Gamma MK3.

On January 7th, 2025 at 5:30 PM EST, Gamma MK2 lifted off from LP-2 on its maiden flight, named "Starting Anew." It successfully completed ascent, parachute deploy, and descent. However, we were unable to find it after landing. Recovery operations were suspended for the day on 1/7 due to the sun going down. Recovery ops will resume on 1/8. A more detailed report on the flight will come after we have been able to properly analyze everything and potentially recover the vehicle.
