Most LORC members started stirring at about 07h00. After a warm cup of coffee and rusks, we packed up. I only had a tent and awning and it took me an hour to pack everything. Mike had to pack up his 4x4 Trailer (AT.EZEE) that is considerably more sophisticated and luxurious than mine, and included an awning, roof-top tent and dressing room .... Guess what, he did it in under an hour.
We decided to take the same route home. We started engines at 08h15 and headed to the farm house where we stopped to pump the vehicle tyres using our own compressors before heading home. Because our vehicles both include long range fuel tanks we could complete the round trip of 906km without refuelling the vehicles.
The roads were not too busy and I arrived home at 13h00.
