Now we are starting to get into serious 4x4 vehicle terrain as we head towards Baviaanskloof. Lynne had bought delicious bread at the Elephant Walk the previous day and we had forgotten the remains at the B&B. We made a detour to get some fresh bread before departing for Baviaanskloof.

The road to the Komdomo Camp took us through the Gamtoos valley which is known for citrus farming. We arrived at the Komdomo Campsite at about 14h00. We anticipated rain so we setup camp. We had barely put the last tent peg into the ground, when the heavens opened again as though it would never stop. It rained on-and-off all night which made the camping very cosy.
