Jaws - Book Cover Design

For the cover design I had the idea to use a minimalist style. I took the letter “J” from Jaws and shaped it like a fishing hook to reflect the oceanic theme of the book. There is also a silhouette of a shark behind the letter creating a sense of danger. I incorporated a traditional Japanese wave pattern, which reflects the oceanic setting as well as adding to the minimalist style. This simple yet striking design effectively captures the essence of the story while creating a fresh and modern take on the novel.
