Rocky was born to Sylvester and Lori Callahan, living in King's Ridge, a small trailer park on the outskirts of Warrensburg. They were a lower middle class family, and Rocky was the middle of three siblings, Lilian and Doug. Sylvester was a construction worker while Lori was a middle school teacher.
As a result, Rocky often did not see either of their parents, except for during the summer, when Lori was home as she didn't work.
Rocky was mostly raised by their older sister Lilian, and got a lot of their style and music taste from her. Lilian eventually left for college as she gained a full ride scholarship to a college outside of the state when Rocky was 16 and Doug was 12. Rocky became very antisocial as a result, and kept to their room unless it was to help take care of Doug.
When they turned 18, they were introduced to a program that helped underprivileged high school graduates transition into adults, and they became a resident of Sunspire Heights, as long as their college grades remained high. They went to college for a bachelor's in computer science, and are currently attending classes online for a master's.
