Ellie Gurvich she/they

I am a sixth year Ph.D. candidate in applied mathematics at UMBC (University of Maryland, Baltimore County), advised by Justin T Webster.

My research lies in analysis of partial differential equations. Currently, I'm working on utilizing the theory of C_0-semigroups and implicit, degenerate evolution equations to study biologically-motivated systems of poroelasticity (Biot) and of fluid-poroelastic structure interactions.
