Nix allows me to version way more things than just runtimes/compilers. Additionally this completely prevents me from Erlang/Elixir version mismatch. I use Nix also as my system package manager, so it is like Homebrew and ASDF in one package. Also the idea that I do not need to have packages available globally and instead have them per-environment is very useful.
I'm trying to find the version/build of a VMware Update Manager. As per, -tip-finding-vsphere-update-manager-version-and-build/ , both the log file and the EXE show 5.0.1 build 1886986 but I cannot find this build number anywhere in VMware documentation (such as Build numbers and versions of VMware vSphere Update Manager (2143837) | VMware KB ).

This message was presented to me when running AutoCAD, Revit etc. after installing the latest client license manager 12.2.0.17. Which is weird, since we already have the most recent NLM version installed on the license server.
It's not listed in Windows 'Add/Remove programs'. Trying to install an older version doesn't seem to work. Luckily, there's a trick. When you look in folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\AdskLicensing" you'll see all installed versions of the license manager. And there's one folder called Current. That's a hardlink to the most recently installed version. So if the latest version fails, just rename 'Current' and create a new link:
Good work! It turns out ADSKFLEX.exe is not getting updated when installing / updating to version 11.18. At least not on our server. Stopping / killing the FlexLM service / ADSKFLEX.exe won't help - it just won't update ADSKFLEX.exe. I solved it by renaming ADSKFLEX.exe to ADSKFLEX.exe.old and then re-installed 11.18. Then the new version IS installed. On the client, switched the license manager back to the latest version and everything works fine again.

I was on 2.0.6 and it's no more available. My repository is still there, but arduino IDE doesn't want me to use it because it's not on the board manager. As you showed, now there's only 2.0.10 and 2.0.11.
Did you find a solution ?
Or else does someone know how to force the IDE using a version, even if it isn't in the board manager file ?

I use to boot to Ubuntu, and I would obviously use the Apt package manager to search & download packages. "Ubuntu" & apt has some issues when it comes to certain packages though, expecially when trying to change versions. Unfortuanatly Node.js is one piece of software where switching around to different versions is difficult to do using "Ubuntu" & apt. This conundrum led to me getting use to manually installing Node, Npm, and manually adding the global npm bin dirs to my path &/or soft linking them.
Just like everyone else, I also have the FBW that I got from the marketplace still sitting there in my content manager, but I manually pick and choose which contents I install anyway, so the various world updates or sim updates that MSFS releases or even when I regularly reinstall windows and fresh reinstall MSFS. I never, not once have the FBW get reinstalled on its own without my knowing. And I keep the current FBW aircraft updated via their installer. 0852c4b9a8
