Elisa Haveles is a music educator who resides in Connecticut. As a Dalio Teacher Fellow, Ms. Haveles attended Lincoln Center Education’s Summer Forum Aesthetic Education Immersion and continues to be a facilitator of arts aesthetics education. She is a frequent presenter for local and state organizations and is an active member of the Connecticut Music Educators Association. Ms. Haveles taught music in the Coventry Public Schools where she conducted the premiere of her composition “Flying to the Light” for treble voices, piano and saxophone/clarinet. Previously she taught music in the Manchester Public Schools where she was named ‘Teacher of the Year’ at Keeney Street Elementary School. While teaching in Manchester, she performed as a singer/pianist in “The Manchester Voice” with former contestants from NBC’s “The Voice.” Elisa also taught voice and piano lessons at Summit Studios Performing Arts Center in Manchester for many years. Ms. Haveles completed postgraduate studies in Educational Leadership at Sacred Heart University; graduated magna cum laude with a Master of Music in Music Education and Kodály Level III Certification from The Hartt School, University of Hartford; and graduated cum laude from the University of Southern Maine School of Music with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education.
