Like many, I assume, I use my iPad to screen mirror a zoom class to my Apple TV. However, I no longer have this capability. The AppleTV no longer shows up as an option when I go to screen mirroring on my iPad or my iPhone. I have updated and restarted all devices and still am unable to screen mirror like I did in the past.

- The router, TV and devices are all in the same room - close proximity

- I've restarted all devices multiple times - unplugged from walls,etc.

- The TV, phones and ipads are all running the latest updates

- Automatically Airplay to TVs on iPhone - Tried Automatic, enabled and disabled.

- No VPNs enabled

I received my PPM in June, and Airplay/screen mirroring worked fine at first, but since latest SW upgrade the PPM does not even show up in the airplay-lists on either my iPhone11 or in my MacbookPro.

Just to add that screen mirroring works fine with my lower model iPhones and screen mirroring on my iPhone 11 works fine with other devices! So I guess this is an issue that perhaps PPM does not support newer versions of iPhone?

Yesterday 2023-04-05, screen mirroring stopped working. There was a software update that morning. I have a Roku Ultra 4800X connected to my modem by ethernet. serial # X01000YMLFPR, SOFTWARE 12.0.00 BUILD 4168-C2. I am trying to mirror from an iPad 9 using the lastest iOS. When attempting to mirror I get a black screen that says "AirPlay Wirelessly share content from your iPhone, iPad or Mac" in one area and "Connected to Device" in another area. I have tried rebooting my modem and powering down the the Roku. Yesterday I got it to work briefly by turning off AirPlay in Settings and turning it back on again. Today it worked for a few seconds after rebooting the modem. Since then, nothing works

There have been several software updates since this issue has come up. None seem to fixed the issue. On 2023-04-18 I discovered the image would mirror but there was no audio. There was an update the 19th. On the 20th I found mirroring was working, both image and audio. Today it's back to image only no audio. No one had contacted me about the status of this issue, I just have to keep trying the mirror function to see what the status is.

I think i may have found a way. If you go on power in settings you will see restart. Press that instead of turning it off and on on the remote. But make sure that the screen mirroring is on always on. I couldn't find any app or method that would work so i experimented.

I have Roku premiere 3920 and I can no longer do screen mirroring with my iPhone. Both devices are on same network, yet Roku no longer pops up as recognized device on phone, and I am not able to set up that airplay homekit feature on the Roku. That option simply does not respond. given that I am experiencing audio issues in no video sessions when using the music app something is probably wrong with the way an AVSession is registered. I experienced stuttering video in one of the open sessions too when using the music app. the workaround that I found is to use the control center which layers on top of the systm app to restart the playlist that just stopped playing. maybe you can do this with the screen mirroring too?
