Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions govern your use of the tutoring services provided by Elevate Exam Tutoring. 

By joining our classes you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. 

Please read them carefully before accessing or using our services.

1. Lesson Structure and Payment

• Lesson Length: Each lesson is approximately 60 minutes, length may adapt by up to 10 minutes either way depending on the need of your child.

• Payment: Must be made monthly. Invoices will be sent one week before the end of the month and must be paid by the last working day of the month. Details of how to pay will be provided by invoice to the email provided at the time of booking.

• Session Access: Online students will receive a link to the session 24 hours in advance to the email provided at the time of booking. Please ensure your microphone, camera and device works prior to the session. A PC with a writing tablet, a touch screen laptop or an iPad is recommended. A phone is not recommended as it will be too small for certain content to be seen.

2. Session Attendance and Recording

• Session Availability: If the tutor is unable to take a group session another qualified tutor will lead the session. Where this is not possible an alternative time will be scheduled. For individual sessions another session at a mutually convenient time will be offered.

• Missed Sessions: If a student is unable to attend a group session, they will be provided with a free recording of the missed session. If an individual student is unable to attend a session another session at a mutually convenient time will be offered.

• Video Recordings: Video recordings are for the student's personal use only and may not be shared or distributed.

3. Data Protection

• Data Privacy: We are committed to protecting your personal data. We comply with all applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

• Data Use: We will only use your personal data for the purposes of providing tutoring services to you. We will not share your personal data with any third parties without your consent.

4. Intellectual Property

• Video Content: The content of video recordings is the property of Elevate Exam Tutoring Ltd. Students are not permitted to distribute or share the content of these recordings. 

• Session Content: This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance and graphics. Reproduction is prohibited.

• Websites: From time to time sessions may also include links to other websites. These links are provided for your convenience to provide further information. They do not signify that we endorse the website(s). We have no responsibility for the content of the linked website(s).

7. Session Conduct

We expect those who take part in our sessions to display appropriate behaviour for learning at all times. This includes respecting the other students in the session as well as the tutor. We see parents/carers as valuable partners in promoting positive behaviour and will involve them as appropriate.

If behaviour issues are unresolved, Elevate Exam Tutoring reserves the right to request Sessions with the client stop at any time. If a student is removed from sessions there will be no refund

5. Cancellation and Refunds

• Cancellation: Cancellation of lessons is permitted up to 14 days before the first session. After this point, a the months payment will be taken in full.

• Refunds: Refunds will be processed within 7 business days of receiving your cancellation request. The monies refunded will be subjected to a £25 admin fee.

6. Modifications to Terms and Conditions

Modifications: We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any modifications will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
