Eleonora Agostinelli
DPhil student in Mathematics
Mathematical Institute, University of Oxford
I am a DPhil student in Mathematical Biology at the University of Oxford’s Mathematical Institute, where I am a member of the Wolfson Centre for Mathematical Biology and the Oxford Centre for Industrial and Applied Mathematics. Supervised by Prof. Helen Byrne, Prof. Mohit Dalwadi, and Dr. Keith Chambers, in my research I use multiscale modelling and asymptotic analysis to investigate macrophage behavior and lipid accumulation in early-stage atherosclerosis.
Before my doctoral studies, I have completed undergraduate studies in Mathematics at University College London and graduate studies in Mathematical Modelling at the University of Oxford.
