I am interested in how information from various sensory modalities is integrated in the brain to result in perception. A recurring theme in my research is the application of studying perception in relation to aesthetic appreciation because of my personal keen interest in art and because art contexts offer the potential to study neurotypical perception in more ecologically valid settings. In my projects, I apply a multi-method approach by combining behavioral (eye-tracking) and neural (EEG) measures with rating scales, questionnaires and interviews.
