About Me
I am originally from Minneapolis Minnesota, I graduated with honors and distinction in Philosophy from Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas. Before beginning my graduate studies at the University of Utah, I interned at the Center for Bioethics at the University of Minnesota and with the Presidential Commission for the Study of Bioethical Issues. In my graduate career, I was twice appointed as a Steffensen Cannon Graduate Research Scholar, I worked as an Ethics Research Assistant for ItRunsInMyFamily.com, and I was a Mentored Research Assistant with the Utah Center for Excellence in ELSI Research. Additionally, I have been a Teaching Assistant and Instructor for the Department of Philosophy and the Department of Computer Sciences at the University of Utah.
