The lower GS levels are the entry level positions, example GS3 Forestry Aid Entry Level Firefighter would be a entry level position where as a GS5 Forestry Technician Senior Firefighter requires previous experience. The PD's can help you to use the appropriate verbiage to explain your experience in your resume. Read through the position description and relate experience you have to duties outlined in the PD.
