Although the teeth are not fully erupted yet, the two central incisors show recession. Still not extended beyond CEJ.
It shows how thin the gingiva is and the papilla not filled the interdental area.
It shows thin gingiva at central incisors area.
The graft was prepared partially de-epithelialized keeping free gingival graft at the central area.
The recession area was prepared by partially releasing flap just from apical area of the gingival margin and extending the tunnel laterally.
The de-epithelialized graft inserted into the tunneling pouch while the central non deepithelialized area placed over the recession area.
The graft was fixed with interrupted sutures.
The palatal wound was treated with small gauze pellet and nylon suture.
Good and healthy keratinized tissue still covered the recession area. The interdental papilla is completely reconstructed.
The gingival thickness has increased with good papillary shape filled interdental space.
