August 2025 - Thank you so much for your support during this exhausting but fulfilling project! We have finally transformed the library. The floors have been replaced, bookshelves painted, and we've added a Kids Corner for younger children. The bookshelves now feature specialized genre-based sections. Don't forget to take a look this Sunday!

June 11, 2025 - The Library Project is halfway completed. All of the bookshelves are painted in a beautiful Evergreen Fog, including the shelves. The flooring has not been completed yet, however, it will be by the end of July/beginning of August. While a major setback, this is simply the course that the project has taken. Thank you for your kindness and support as we champion painting, moving, cleaning, and installing! 

May 28, 2025 - Thank you for your kindness, support, generosity, and willingness to lend a hand as we complete one of our most difficult projects. The Library Project aims to transform Sunrise Church's drab, dark, dusty, and timeworn library into a elegent and sophisticated space for church members. Part of the mission of Sunrise Web and Design is to update each space at the church so they reflect modern styles and the current time period. 

As of May 28, we have primed each shelf (25 shelves total) and each bookshelf (5 bookshelves) at least twice. The project is being led by Charlotte, the founder of SWD, with assistance from Collin, the church handyman, and supplies presented by Sunrise's church administrator and pastor. 

In the course of the next week, the carpet in the library will be removed and replaced with modern flooring and the previously dark wood bookshelves will be painted Sherwin Williams's Evergreen Fog paint color. We have a small budget to decorate the space and shelves but we are determined to meet our high standards nonetheless.
