The National Parent Teacher Association (PTA) has the mission of making every child's potential a reality by empowering and engaging families and communities to advocate for all children. The PTA is the oldest and largest child advocacy association in the United States, and is a network of millions of families, students, teachers, administrators, and business and community leaders. 

The PTA's work includes: working with school communities and decision makers, promoting family engagement in schools, advocating for public education, and being a relevant resource for families and communities.
