Germany Localised Internationalisation Programme

Apart from simply visiting German places in Singapore, this 3-day program has definitely gave me a new insight towards the place I stay. As I learnt about the relations between Singapore and Germany, it just allowed me to feel a sense of stability and security when living in Singapore. As I got to understand the history of Germany (e.g concentration camps), I started to appreciate my chance of being born in this generation. As I hear stories from Germans, I start to appreciate where I come from and all the things that I have taken for granted (e.g how easy it is for us to get from place to place.) This is a really fulfilling journey and that one day, I hope to have a chance to go to Germany myself to experience it on my own.
