"I hold a bachelor's degree in Biology with a focus on phylogenetics, but during my master's studies, I found myself drawn to hydrology after recognizing a pressing need in my own community. This shift led me to my current research with the E-Hydro Lab, where I am currently working on saltwater intrusion modeling in Sanga-Sanga Island, Tawi-Tawi, Philippines. My work is driven by a strong belief in using science as a tool to serve the people—bridging academic research with real-world impact.
Beyond the lab, I find joy in simple but meaningful activities: reading books, exploring nature, attending dance classes, and—my favorite pastime of all—overthinking."
