Concessions Duty- What to know!

General Guidelines

• If opening the site:

  • • The site manager will either have concessions unlocked for you, or you just need to have the ticket people get them to unlock it for you.

    • Turn on hotdogs and popcorn first. Hotdogs cook to package (should be 160 degrees), there is a thermometer on the counter. There is a warmer on the back counter to wrap them. Wrap them with a piece of wax paper and then tinfoil. 

    • Popcorn plug in, turn on all three switches on the top. For popcorn you cut the top of the bag off, put all contents in the popcorn metal maker and let cook. It fits two bags at a time well. Once popcorn is about complete popping, use the hot pads to flip the bin and dump out the popcorn so it doesn’t burn. Continue to make popcorn as needed. In regards to when to stop making, it is a little bit of a guessing game. They each take about 10-15 minutes to make more, so if you have the hot dog warmer full when the game starts, that should be enough. Popcorn they usually fill the shelf right below the counter.

• There will be startup cash in the drawer, or if I talk with you beforehand and put it in the safe I will let you know the code. The square machine will be on the counter all ready to go. If there are issues with the square, contact Natalie Spicer @ 952-334-1499

• Event workers will have a coupon for pizza/hotdog and a drink. Just collect the pass and put in with the cash. Please do not just give out food to anyone.

• Pizza:

  • • For Soccer double headers we do two deliveries. One at 4:45 and one at 6:15.

    • The large warmer needs to be plugged in and the switch is on the bottom left.

    • There are plates to serve the pizza. Just put the slice on the plate and give to customer.

    • If you notice pizza is about gone before the start of the game, contact Natalie Spicer and she will try to order more in time. Otherwise we just push hotdogs for the rest of the night.

2nd Shift:

• Stay open until the second half begins.

• Cleaning:

  • • Hotdog machine, keep on, but turn all the way down to the lowest setting. There is a spray bottle specific to the hotdog roller on the counter. Only use that and a rag. The rags should be on the shelf above the warmer.

    • Popcorn machine, remove all kernels, empty drawer and clean underneath machine. Wipe out with wet paper towel as best you can both the inside and the metal bin.

    • Wash any utensils used and leave to dry on the counter.

    • Restock fridges with the beverages.

    • Any chocolate candy please put in the fridge.

    • Bring in the table and condiments from outside.

    • Take all cash out of the drawers, put in the blue zip bag and put in the drop box part of the safe in the closest in the middle of the hallway, there is a door on this.
