¿Qué es?
La clase de AP Spanish Literature and Culture es un viaje a través de 38 obras literarias que representan lo mejor que ha producido el genio creativo hispanohablante a través de siete siglos de historia y múltiples contextos geográficos: desde la España medieval hasta la literatura producida en Estados Unidos contemporáneo, pasando por Latinoamérica y el Caribe.
Esta lista incluye cuento corto, novela, ensayo, obra de teatro y poesía, y promueve el pensamiento crítico para desarrollar tu capacidad de interpretación, análisis de arte, textos y, a final de cuentas, el mundo que te rodea.
Este curso equivale a una clase de nivel universitario y ofrece la ventaja de obtener créditos universitarios, una vez aprobado el examen administrado por AP College Board.
About
AP Spanish Literature and Culture is a journey through 38 literary works that represent the best that has been produced by the Spanish speaking world in the last seven centuries in multiple geographic contexts: from medieval Spain to the literature produced in contemporary United States and passing through Latin America and the Caribbean. This list includes short stories, novels, essays, plays, and poetry. This class encourages critical thinking to develop your capacity of interpretation, art and text analysis, and in the end, the world that surrounds you.
This course—equivalent to a university level class—offers the advantage of receiving college credits after taking and passing the exam administered by the AP College Board Program.

Estudié la Licenciatura en Filosofía en la Universidad Panamericana (Ciudad de México, 1999) y la Maestría en Pedagogía (Curriculum & Instruction) en Grand Canyon University (EUA, 2020).
He enseñado español por 6 años en la preparatoria Edison High School y la clase de AP Spanish Literature and Culture por 3 años.
