EH CLINIC ("we", "our", or "us") operates the EH CLINIC mobile application (the "App"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our App and the choices you have associated with that data.
1. Information Collection and Use
While using our App, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. This may include:
Patient Name, Age, and Location (retrieved securely via doctor-generated QR Code login)
Medical and Health Vitals (Blood Pressure, Sugar Level, Water Goal, etc.)
Prescription details and Medicine alarm timings
Device tokens (for push notifications and exact alarms)
2. Use of Data
EH CLINIC uses the collected data for various purposes:
To provide and maintain the Patient Portal service
To schedule precise medicine reminder alarms as prescribed by your doctor
To facilitate doctor-patient appointment bookings
To monitor health vitals and physical activity (step tracking)
3. Data Security
The security of your data is important to us. We use AES encryption and secure Firebase database servers (Google Cloud) to protect your personal and health information. Access to health records is restricted and governed by end-to-end security protocols.
4. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party services like Firebase (Google Cloud) for secure database management, push notifications, and authentication. Your health data is strictly private and is never sold, traded, or rented to third-party advertisers or marketers.
5. Data Retention Policy
We retain your personal and health-related data only for as long as your patient account is active, or as necessary to provide you with the app’s clinical services.
Because medical records are subject to regulatory compliance and healthcare retention standards, your medical history is maintained on behalf of your treating healthcare provider (Doctor/Clinic). Once an account deletion request is processed, non-medical temporary data (such as push tokens and alarm schedules) is immediately purged from our active servers.
6. Data Deletion Process & Account Removal
Because the EH CLINIC app is designed with maximum privacy and end-to-end encryption, the data management and deletion process works differently from standard applications. We (the developers) do not have access to decrypt your medical data, nor do we have the administrative ability to disable your login or delete your records.
1. How Patient Login & Deactivation Works (App Level):
For strict privacy, patient login is authorized solely via a One-Time Use QR Code generated directly by your Doctor's device.
If you wish to instantly deactivate your account and revoke access, you simply need to Uninstall the app or clear the app data from your mobile device.
Because the QR code is single-use, once uninstalled, nobody can log back into your profile. A new QR code from your doctor is mandatory to gain access again.
2. How to Request Medical Data Deletion (Server/Clinic Level):
All your medical vitals, alarm schedules, and prescriptions are managed and controlled entirely by your treating Doctor/Clinic.
Clinic Request: To request the permanent deletion of your medical history and patient profile, you must directly contact your treating Doctor or Clinic administration. They are the only authorized personnel with the ability to delete your records from their management system, subject to mandatory healthcare data retention laws.
3. Email Inquiries:
If you send an email regarding data deletion to our developer support at starofkanniyakumari@gmail.com, please be advised that we cannot directly delete your data or disable your app. We will only be able to provide you with instructions on how to securely uninstall the app and advise you to contact your doctor for record deletion.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
