Yo yo yo! Welcome to our 2.008 Team EGGIE project site. Here, you'll find our design process for our yo-yo and factory model. While we didn't get to physically manufacture our yo-yo's due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we still had a great time in 2.008 and learned a lot from this project. We hope you enjoy!

We are four juniors at MIT studying Mechanical Engineering, all with different concentrations. Pictured left to right:

Antoni is concentrating in Control, Instrumentation, and Robotics and likes to indulge in the simple things in life, like a box of classic dunkin donuts. He hails from the hottest valleys of Arizona and eats scorpions for breakfast. His license may say he's 5'6", but he's actually 5'6.5" (at heart).

Jessica is concentrating in Medical Devices and enjoys painting, dancing, and travelling. In her free time, you may find her drawing (temporary) tattoos on her friends. She hails from San Diego and is always dreaming about sunshine. Her second favorite chicken nugget is the McNugget.

Xiqing is concentrating in Product Design and likes petting dogs. She is from Overland Park, Kansas, and enjoys only ordering tomato juice on flights. Her third favorite kitchen appliance is a milk frother.

Alessandra is also concentrating in Medical Devices. She loves playing piano, drawing, and tropical climates. She is from Hollywood, Florida and disapproves of Massachusetts weather. You can find her around campus painting menacing portraits of her friends.

We matched in Gudetama yellow for Design Review day in lab! We loved the delicious donuts that Dan, our lab instructor, brought to lab :)
