EF lab Privacy Policy (No-Account Apps)
Scope of Application
This Privacy Policy applies uniformly to all mobile applications published by EF lab ("the company") that do not require user registration or account creation, and that do not transmit user-generated data to the company's own servers (collectively, "the Apps"). For apps that require user accounts or operate backend services, a separate privacy policy applies.
A detailed list of Apps covered by this policy, along with the data-collection SDKs used in each, is available on the company's website or on each App's store data-safety page.
The company complies with the Personal Information Protection Act (Republic of Korea), the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Article 1 — Personal Data Collected
The Apps do not provide registration or third-party login features and therefore do not collect personally identifiable information such as name, email, postal address, or phone number.
For service operation and quality improvement, the following data may be automatically collected through third-party SDKs. Not every App uses every SDK listed below; each entry applies only to Apps that actually incorporate the corresponding SDK.
- Google Analytics for Firebase
- App usage events (screen views, button taps), session info, Advertising Identifier, device model and OS version, country (derived from IP)
- Firebase Crashlytics
- Crash logs, stack traces, device model, OS version, network state at the time of error
- Firebase Remote Config
- Firebase Installation ID, app version, locale (used to deliver in-app configuration only)
- Google AdMob
- Advertising Identifier, device information, ad interaction events (applies only to Apps that display advertisements)
Article 2 — Purpose of Processing
Collected data is used solely for:
- Improving app performance and analyzing errors
- Enhancing user experience
- Statistical analysis and service quality improvement
- Delivery and measurement of advertisements (for Apps that display ads)
The company does not sell user data or share it with third parties for unrelated commercial purposes.
Article 3 — Storage and Cross-Border Transfer
User-generated content (calculations, records, settings) is stored only on the user's device and is not synchronized with any company server.
Data automatically collected through Firebase and AdMob is transmitted to and stored on Google LLC servers, which may be located in the United States, the European Union, or other regions. Such data is processed under Google's Privacy Policy and security standards.
Article 4 — Provision to Third Parties
The company does not provide personal data to third parties except where required by applicable law.
Article 5 — Children's Privacy
The Apps are intended for users aged 16 or older by default. In jurisdictions where local law permits a lower age (e.g., the Republic of Korea and the United States), users aged 13 or older may use the Apps in accordance with local law.
The company does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the applicable minimum age without verifiable parental or legal guardian consent. If such collection is discovered, the data will be promptly deleted.
Article 6 — Consent and Withdrawal
By installing and using the Apps, users consent to the data processing described in this policy. Users may withdraw consent at any time by:
- Uninstalling the Apps
- Resetting the Advertising Identifier in device settings
- Restricting ad tracking in device settings
Article 7 — User Rights
Users may exercise the following rights under applicable law:
- Request access, correction, or deletion of their personal data
- Request restriction of processing
- Exercise the right to data portability
- Withdraw consent
Because the Apps do not operate user accounts, certain rights regarding automatically collected data must be exercised through Google directly via Google Account settings or Google Privacy controls.
Article 8 — Security Measures
Although the Apps do not directly store personal data on company servers, the following safeguards apply to automatically collected logs:
- Compliance with Google Firebase's security policies and encryption standards
- Access control and minimization of data processing
Article 9 — Amendments
This Privacy Policy may be amended to comply with legal or service changes. Material amendments will be notified through in-app notices or app store update notes.

적용 범위
본 개인정보처리방침은 EF lab(이하 "당사")이 출시한 모바일 앱 중 사용자 계정 가입을 요구하지 않으며, 사용자 생성 데이터를 당사 서버로 전송하지 않는 모든 앱(이하 "본 앱들")에 동일하게 적용됩니다. 사용자 계정 또는 백엔드 서비스를 운영하는 앱에는 별도의 개인정보처리방침이 적용됩니다.
본 방침의 적용을 받는 앱의 상세 목록과 각 앱별 수집 SDK 구성은 당사 웹사이트 또는 각 앱의 스토어 데이터 안전성 페이지에서 확인하실 수 있습니다.
당사는 「개인정보 보호법」, 「정보통신망 이용촉진 및 정보보호 등에 관한 법률」, EU 일반 개인정보보호법(GDPR)을 준수합니다.
제1조 (수집하는 개인정보 항목)
본 앱들은 회원가입 또는 외부 로그인 기능을 제공하지 않으며, 이름·이메일·주소·전화번호 등 직접 식별 정보를 수집하지 않습니다.
서비스 운영 및 품질 개선을 위해 외부 SDK를 통해 다음 정보가 자동으로 수집될 수 있습니다. 본 앱들 모두가 아래의 모든 SDK를 사용하지는 않으며, 각 항목은 해당 SDK를 실제로 포함한 앱에 한해 적용됩니다.
- Google Analytics for Firebase
- 앱 사용 이벤트(화면 조회·버튼 탭), 세션 정보, 광고 식별자, 기기 모델·OS 버전, 국가 정보(IP 기반)
- Firebase Crashlytics
- 크래시 로그, 스택 트레이스, 기기 모델·OS 버전, 오류 발생 시점의 네트워크 상태
- Firebase Remote Config
- Firebase 설치 ID, 앱 버전, 로케일(앱 내 설정값 전달 용도)
- Google AdMob
- 광고 식별자, 기기 정보, 광고 인터랙션 이벤트(광고를 노출하는 앱에 한해 적용)
제2조 (개인정보의 처리 목적)
수집된 정보는 다음 목적에만 사용됩니다.
- 앱 성능 개선 및 오류 분석
- 사용자 경험 향상
- 통계 분석 및 서비스 품질 개선
- 광고 송출 및 성과 측정(광고를 노출하는 앱에 한함)
당사는 사용자 데이터를 판매하거나 무관한 상업적 목적으로 제3자와 공유하지 않습니다.
제3조 (데이터 저장 및 국외 이전)
사용자가 생성한 데이터(계산 내역·기록·설정)는 사용자 기기에만 저장되며 당사 서버와 동기화되지 않습니다.
Firebase 및 AdMob을 통해 자동 수집된 정보는 Google LLC의 서버로 전송·저장되며, 해당 서버는 미국·유럽연합·기타 지역에 위치할 수 있습니다. 해당 데이터는 Google의 개인정보처리방침 및 보안 기준에 따라 처리됩니다.
제4조 (제3자 제공)
당사는 관련 법령에 의해 요구되는 경우를 제외하고 개인정보를 제3자에게 제공하지 않습니다.
제5조 (아동의 개인정보 보호)
본 앱들은 기본적으로 만 16세 이상 사용자를 대상으로 합니다. 현지 법률이 더 낮은 연령을 허용하는 국가(예: 대한민국, 미국)에서는 만 13세 이상 사용자가 현지 법률에 따라 본 앱들을 이용할 수 있습니다.
당사는 법정대리인의 검증 가능한 동의 없이 적용 최소 연령 미만 아동의 개인정보를 의도적으로 수집하지 않습니다. 그러한 수집이 확인되는 경우 즉시 삭제됩니다.
제6조 (동의 및 철회)
사용자는 본 앱들의 설치 및 사용으로 본 방침에 기재된 정보 처리에 동의한 것으로 간주됩니다. 사용자는 다음 방법으로 언제든지 동의를 철회할 수 있습니다.
- 본 앱들 삭제
- 기기 설정에서 광고 식별자 재설정
- 기기 설정에서 광고 추적 제한
제7조 (이용자의 권리)
사용자는 관련 법령에 따라 다음의 권리를 행사할 수 있습니다.
- 개인정보 열람·정정·삭제 요청
- 처리 제한 요청
- 데이터 이동권 행사
- 동의 철회
본 앱들이 자체 계정을 운영하지 않으므로, 자동 수집 데이터에 관한 일부 권리는 Google 계정 설정 또는 Google 개인정보 관리 도구를 통해 직접 행사해야 합니다.
제8조 (안전성 확보 조치)
당사 서버에 직접 저장되는 개인정보는 없으나, 자동 수집 로그에 대해 다음 안전 조치가 적용됩니다.

- 접근 제어 및 처리 최소화
제9조 (개인정보처리방침의 변경)
본 방침은 법령 또는 서비스 변경에 따라 개정될 수 있습니다. 중요한 변경 사항은 앱 내 공지 또는 앱 스토어 업데이트 노트를 통해 안내됩니다.
