These Terms govern use of Effortless Budget (“App”). By downloading or using App, you agree to these Terms.
App is personal budgeting software. It helps organize financial information you choose to enter.
App does not provide financial, investment, legal, accounting, or tax advice. Do not rely on App as substitute for qualified professional advice. You remain solely responsible for financial decisions and their outcomes.
You are responsible for:
• Accuracy, completeness, and legality of information entered into App.
• Reviewing budgets, transactions, goals, calculations, and reports before acting on them.
• Protecting your device, passcode, Apple ID, iCloud account, and other credentials.
• Maintaining backups of information important to you.
• Any activity occurring through your device or accounts.
App may use iCloud to sync or restore your data between compatible devices.
iCloud availability, syncing, storage, restoration, retention, and access depend on Apple, your account settings, device state, network connection, available storage, and other factors outside our control. Sync or restoration may be delayed, unavailable, incomplete, or unsuccessful.
You should keep independent backups of important information. We do not guarantee uninterrupted sync, successful restoration, or recovery of lost data.
You may use App only for lawful personal use and in compliance with these Terms.
You may not:
• Reverse engineer, modify, copy, distribute, rent, lease, sell, or sublicense App except where law permits.
• Interfere with App, its security, or another user’s use.
• Use App to violate laws, infringe rights, or transmit harmful material.
• Misrepresent App’s outputs as professional financial, tax, legal, or investment advice.
App, including its software, design, branding, text, graphics, and other content, is owned by Sree Mahit Munakala or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You retain ownership of data you enter into App. You grant us only limited rights needed to operate, maintain, and improve App as permitted by our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
App is provided “as is” and “as available,” to fullest extent allowed by law.
We do not warrant that App will be accurate, complete, secure, uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every device, or free from loss, delay, or data corruption. Budgeting results, calculations, and forecasts may contain errors and should be independently verified.
To fullest extent allowed by law, Sree Mahit Munakala and its affiliates, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost savings, lost data, or financial losses arising from use of or inability to use App.
Our total liability for any claim related to App will not exceed greater of: (a) amount you paid us for App during twelve months before claim, or (b) US $10000.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. In those places, liability is limited only to extent permitted by law.
You may stop using App at any time by deleting it from your device.
We may suspend or terminate access to App if you violate these Terms, misuse App, or if required for security, legal, or operational reasons. Sections intended to survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and governing-law provisions, will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted in App or on our website with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use after effective date means you accept updated Terms, where permitted by law.
These Terms are governed by laws of California, U.S.A, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in California will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or App, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
