Engineer III

As the overall overseer of all the physical facilities in the Schools Division of Bislig City, the Education Facilities Section is in charge with providing technical services for schools, learning centers, and the Schools Division Office to have a physical environment that is conducive to effective teaching, learning, and working by ensuring access to adequate, structurally and physically safe buildings, grounds and facilities according to the requirements and standards of an education and work facility that is environmentally sustainable, hazard-free, gender-sensitive, and friendly to people with disability.

About the Engineer

A son of a licensed professional teacher who spent more than half of her life with the Department of Education, Engr. Zojet B. Petilo joined the Schools Division of Bislig City in 2015 and has been the head of the Education Facilities Section since then. He finished his degree in Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at the Ateneo de Davao University. Aside from being lauded to be one of the engineers who always submit reports and other requirements promptly, Engr. Petilo was commended by none other than Secretary of Education Leonor M. Magtolis-Briones and Undersecretary for Administration Alain Del B. Pascua when he received the national award as OUTSTANDING DIVISION ENGINEER in 2017 during the 2nd National Conference of DepEd Engineers and Architects.

During the 3rd National Conference of DepEd Engineers and Architects in 2017 at Great Eastern Hotel, QC where the Division Engineer of DepEd Schools Division of Bislig City was awarded as "Outstanding Division Engineer".
