DISCOURSE OF TECHNOLOGY
My current projectinvestigates the discursive-materiality of geo-spatial technologies such as the Global Positioning System and their localized versions such as GhanaPostGPS. I theorize the rhetorical work of these technologies, their usability, and their potential for governmentality, planetary coloniality, and algorithmic reticulation. I also connect these analyses to regnant logics of techno-scientific localization in the area of technical writing/communication and critical pedagogies.
RHETORIC OF HEALTH & MEDICINE
I researchthe rhetoric of health and medicine, especially the rhetorical ethics of medical discourse such as transnational Coronavirus vaccine trials andmultinational pharmaceutical writing. My current projects in this area examine 1. how the complexity of vaccine trial histories connect to contemporarynecropolitics of vaccine rhetorics, 2. planetary medical apartheid, 3. digital agency in/of multi/cross-cultural rhetorics of science, health, and medicine.
