GEG Mentor Application Process
The Application Process
GEG Mentors must be nominated by two existing GEG Leaders in the same region (APAC, EMEA, LATAM, NA). The Nomination Form can be also found on the Leadership Overview page.
After being successfully nominated , Mentors will complete the application, which will be automatically emailed to you, that will require you to answer:
In 100 words or less, please describe how your experience prepares you for becoming a GEG mentor in your region.
In 100 words or less, please describe how you would like to support and impact GEGs in your local area.
You will also need to submit a 1-minute video (videos longer than this may not be viewed in their entirety), introducing yourself and explaining why you would be suited for a Mentor role. The aim of this video is to showcase your personality and enthusiasm for supporting new and existing Google Educator Groups. The video should be uploaded to YouTube and can be unlisted. A simple face to camera video is preferred.
Nominated Mentors will also need to submit a profile photo, email address and Twitter/Facebook profile link that will be shared on this GEG Leader Portal.
Your Google Contact in your region will then review all applications on a rolling basis and reach out accordingly.
