Welcome to my website!

I am an assistant professor at the economics department of Leiden University.

I conduct research within the field of applied microeconomics, with a special focus on the economics of ageing, health, labour, and migration. 

I am also affiliated to the Network on Pensions, Ageing, and Retirement (NETSPAR), the Leiden-Delft-Erasmus Center for the Governance of Migration and Diversity (GMDcentre), the Leiden University research program Social Citizenship and Migration, and the University of York's Health Econometrics and Data Group (HEDG).

Part of my current research falls under the umbrella of the TransEuroWorkS Horizon Europe project, for which I am a member of the coordination team.
