I'm slightly addicted to spending way too much time on YouTube Shorts on my phone, so I'm looking for a shortcut that just kicks me back to my home screen whenever I open the 'Shorts' part of the YouTube app.

Rotation (and other protractor operation(s)) about a specific axis can be obtained by dragging the tool after the first click. No [Arrow] keys, nor shortcut keys are involved. FAIK there have never been. Drag the tool and second click, even for any other direction.

This is a condensed version of the fall off the bone short ribs I learned how to make in culinary school. Instead of braising in the oven for several hours, these shortcut short ribs go in the instapot. This saves you so much time AND you can prep your sides while the instapot does its thing. I love to serve mine with creamy parmesan polenta, and fresh jus.

To make a good jus for your shortcut short ribs, you must remove as much fat as possible, then thicken. I skim the oil off the top of the instapot after cooking, then again after I strain it. As long as you remove that oily layer from the top of the broth before adding the cornstarch, you will have the most impressive gravy you have ever made.

I am trying to make a macro that pastes in a value of " - 01" and then short press it again and it increments to then next number " - 02" etc indefinitely (or at least to 99). Then if you long press the same shortcut it resets back to 01 again and resumes pasting in the next number upon short presses.

From there, making the hummus is just a matter of running the sweet potato and other ingredients through a food processor until smooth. The combination makes a tasty dip that is a nutrition powerhouse. The flavor is a well balanced trifecta of sweet, spicy, and tangy. In a word, addictive. Nobody will care that you took one little shortcut.

Consider setting the CDPATH environment variable in your .bashrc or .bash_profile. CDPATH takes the same colon-delimited form that other PATH like variables take, and lets cd take shortcuts in finding your directories. For example:

Hi Michael,

First of all, lets set the keyboard shortcut thing aside and work through why you might be having difficulty inserting a timestamp into the notes section using the menu bar. I can insert time stamps into the notes section, and here is my step-by-step:

While doing something else I noticed that an older version of OF was still installed and it made me wonder if perhaps this could be why the shortcut I had set up previously was not working. I removed the old version of OF, deleted the old shortcut, created a new shortcut and voila, it now works.

Hey #WYZE!

How about a shortcut added to the viewing screen for the Floodlight controls the same as you added a siren shortcut.

I see the one at the top of the screen. But one that we can turn it on/off and and set a day of the week and physical timer on and off.

Do you know if there's a list of keyboard shortcuts for AP, makes things quick and easy rather than menus. As you know PS, is a great tool, I started way back with ver 2.5 I think it was but sadly the price is now ridiculous and would now only use occasionally. Do you find functionality of AP on par with PS

The online help has a list of the defaults for Macs, for example -US.lproj/pages/Workspace/shortcuts.html for the US English Keyboard shortcuts topic. Same thing is available through the built-in Help (via Help > Affinity Photo Help) as one of the last entries in the contents, & it should (I think!) have the Windows-specific ones if you are running that OS.

Did you try opening the Help through Help > Affinity Photo Help & if necessary clicking on the icon to display the help topics list (looks like 3 lines in the Mac version), & see if you have an item there named "Keyboard shortcuts?" If so click on that.

To use a keyboard shortcut, press and hold one or more modifier keys and then press the last key of the shortcut. For example, to use Command-C (copy), press and hold the Command key, then the C key and then release both keys. Mac menus and keyboards often use symbols for certain keys, including modifier keys:

Some keys on some Apple keyboards have special symbols and functions, such as for display brightness , keyboard brightness and more. If these functions aren't available on your keyboard, you may be able to reproduce some of them by creating your own keyboard shortcuts. To use these keys as F1, F2, F3 or other standard function keys, combine them with the Fn key.

What environment are you working in? In several code editors, such as Visual Studio Code, the shortcut for creating a multiline comment is "Alt + Shift + A" on Windows or "Ctrl + Shift + A" on Mac. However, it doesn't look like Treehouse's Workspaces supports that keyboard shortcut.

Note: You can change this shortcut so it also opens screen snipping, which lets you edit your screenshot. Select Start  > Settings  > Accessibility  > Keyboard , and set Use the Print Screen button to open screen snipping to On.

Set focus to a Windows tip when one is available.

When a Windows tip appears, bring focus to the Tip. Pressing the keyboard shortcuts again to bring focus to the element on the screen to which the Windows tip is anchored.

Note: Clipboard history isn't turned on by default. If you'd like to turn it on, use this keyboard shortcut and then select the prompt to turn on history. Or you can select Start  > Settings  > System  > Clipboard , and set Clipboard history to On.

Note: You can change this shortcut so it also opens screen snipping, which lets you edit your screenshot. Select Start  > Settings > Ease of Access > Keyboard, and turn on the toggle under Print Screen shortcut.

This shortcut is turned off by default. To turn it on, select Start  > Settings  > Cortana, and turn on the toggle under Let Cortana listen for my commands when I press the Windows logo key + C.

This is for Windows. Have you tried a right click on what you want a shortcut to? See example image below. Right clicking on WDMYCLOUD and choosing Create shortcut will give you a shortcut to all shares. Click on, tap or activate image to enlarge it.

Opening the Dashboard and dragging the Address onto the screen will give you a shortcut to the Dashboard that should look like the image below, then you can rename it or leave the address showing, your choice.

Not a keyboard shortcut, but Shift+Right Click is my preferred method of getting to the Tools palette. This has the added bonus that the Tools Palette pops up where your mouse is so you don't have to go searching for it.

a link to a software application, file, or website, usually represented as a graphical icon that can be clicked on to quickly access or open it: You can create a desktop shortcut to a web page you've visited.

Hi, @Ian Cunningham. The shortcut key for mute is CTRL-SHIFT-M. You can find a list of keyboard shortcuts for Microsoft Teams at -us/article/Keyboard-shortcuts-for-Microsoft-Teams-2e8e2a70-e8d8-4a19-9...

@ThereseSolimeno

Thanks to that but I don#t think that's correct - the shortcut you mention just mutes me.

I want to Mute all (as per the option in the participant list ie.. "Short Cut Key for Mute All"

It's a very useful feature for well-managed meetings as it stops background noise, careless comments (people have to enable) and most importantly the feedback that happens particularly when people are using devices like laptops without headsets.

It is very awkward having to open one of the current fixed participants' windows to then click the option with a mouse.

I'd rather hoped the lack of a mention was just an oversight in documentation as it is a vitally useful option for most of us running committee etc. rather than informal chats. e24fc04721
