The 3rd European Symposium for Deaf Interpreters and Translators, originally scheduled for May 20–22, has been postponed to June 11–13, 2027, in Italy.

This decision was made due to the insufficient number of registrations and the need to allow additional time for reflection and development, also in light of previous symposium experiences.

The coming period will offer several training and professional development opportunities in the field of interpreting and translation. We believe that postponing the event will encourage greater participation, fresh perspectives, and more meaningful exchange.

We also considered current challenges, including potential issues related to the energy crisis, which may affect travel and logistics, particularly in May.

All registrations already received will be refunded as soon as possible. Participants are kindly asked to send their name, IBAN, and correct SWIFT code to ensure a smooth and timely reimbursement process.

The official symposium website will remain active and will be regularly updated with information about the new dates.
