The first Thursday of every month at the Joseph Pearce on Elm Row, Leith
Come along and have a drink with other activists, scientists, NGO people, policy wonks and climate-inclined citizens. Climate Drinks is a space to chat about the climate crisis in a relaxed environment; we have no programme, no speakers, no sign-up list: just several tables booked in a cozy pub by a group of people who want to talk more about the climate. This is not a lecture or a pub quiz and everyone is welcome.
We meet the first Thursday of every month from 19:00 until close at 23:00. Location is the Joseph Pearce, 23 Elm Row, Edinburgh EH7 4AA. We're trialling meeting here for the next month or two so feedback is always welcome.
How can I join?
Just drop by the pub, grab a pint or a lemonade at the bar and join the group. We’ll have a “Climate Drinks” sign on our table. Just say you’re here for the drinks and take the closest free seat.
This website will be kept up to date, but if you'd like an additional reminder you can join the WhatsApp group by contacting us. You can also subscribe to the Google Calendar above.
Climate Drinks is organised by a small group of people — Diego, Emily, Freya, Jocelyn and Steph — with an interest in environmental/climate concerns. Members of the group have helped set up similar drinks in London, Oxford and San José.
