The first centenary celebrations have been announced to mark 100 years of Edgware's modern town centre and tube station. UP Projects is working with Barnet Council to curate a programme of artist-led activities to celebrate the centenary, including a permanent artwork at 158 Station Road. Also, the London Festival of Architecture has launched ‘More Edgware, Less Anywhere’. This new design competition aims to re-introduce greening on the high street, after a century of town centre growth over its green spaces.

As Edgware gets ready to celebrate its history - as well as looking ahead to its regeneration future - we want to know what you think deserves a focus? Perhaps this is a chance to restore a neglected building? Maybe you would like to celebrate some of our local organisations and individuals? Or you might like to see something new in place to remember the past?
