Edgware Town Centre masterplan in 10

🛍️ 1. The Broadwalk Centre will close in 2025. Shops will be distributed around the new town centre

📽️ 2. In 2030 there will be a new town square. This will include a new three screen cinema

🚌 3. Edgware Bus Garage will be moved underground and electrified

🚲 4. A new cycle hub will hold c.200 spaces and new walking routes would open up links to the south

🌲 5. Deans Brook Nature Park will be created from the existing inaccessible green space

🟠 6. 'A new and improved Sainsbury’s of over 6,500m2 with dedicated car parking'

🏠 7. Plans include c.4000 new homes. This is less than the 5000+ they previously pushed for

🏙️ 8. This would be a town centre of tower blocks

⏲️ 9. Construction of the site would last for approx 10 years

🏚️ 10. Although offsite, the #RailwayHotelEdgware has its own page dedicated to its future
