The harbingers of death use to be called the Asalon Kingdom originaly a very calm nice nation of people, their ruler very kind,caring,giving however when his wife had died he became obsessed with ressurecting her from the dead, not as a zombie or anything, as to fully bring her back, this obsession drove him insane to the point where he started destroying the nation from within, he then started to focus on resurrecting the dead for an army to destroy all living creatures because of his hatred at 'god' for his wifes death many nations banded together to deafeat him and so they did, but not before he was able to turn himself in an extremely powerful necromancer after they had slain this mad king, it took about a thousand years before the cult of death had found his skeleton and resurrected him seeing him as some "God of death"
