Information we collect

Edgeora does not collect, sell, or share personal information. The app does not require an account and does not use analytics, advertising trackers, or internet access.

The app stores preferences such as lighting settings, selected apps, language, theme, and wallpaper choices locally on your device. These settings are not sent to us.

Device permissions and local processing

• Notification access: If enabled, Edgeora checks the originating app package and notification event to trigger edge lighting. Notification titles, text, images, and message content are not read, stored, or transmitted.

• Display over other apps: Used to draw the edge-lighting effect over the screen when enabled by you.

• Phone state: Used only to support incoming-call lighting. Phone numbers, contacts, and call content are not collected.

• Wallpaper access: Used to apply a wallpaper selected by you to the home screen, lock screen, or both.

• Notifications and foreground service: Used to keep the lighting service operating when Android requires a visible service notification.

All processing is performed locally on your device. Edgeora does not transmit information to the developer or third parties.

Data retention and deletion

Because Edgeora does not maintain a developer-side account or server database, there is no personal data stored by us to delete. You can remove locally stored app settings and content by clearing the app data or uninstalling Edgeora. Android system permissions can be revoked at any time from device settings.

Children’s privacy

Edgeora does not knowingly collect personal information from children or from any other user.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app or applicable requirements change. The updated policy will include a new effective date and will be made available with the app listing or application materials.
