EdgeMorph AI privacy policy

EdgeMorph AI edits pictures and checks whether they read as AI-generated. This
page explains what happens to your data. The short version: your pictures never
leave your phone.
YOUR PICTURES
Pictures you open in EdgeMorph AI are read, edited and analysed entirely on your
device. They are never uploaded, transmitted, shared or stored anywhere outside
your phone. The detector is a model that ships inside the app and runs locally,
which is why checking works with no network connection at all.
The app only sees pictures you choose yourself through your phone's picture
picker. It has no access to the rest of your photo library. Edited pictures are
saved only when you ask, into your device's own Pictures folder.
WHAT THE APP COLLECTS
Nothing. EdgeMorph AI has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics and no crash
reporting. It does not build a profile of you and sends nothing about you or your
use of it to us or to anyone else.
ADVERTISING
The free version shows adverts supplied by Google AdMob. This is the only part of
the app that uses the internet.
To show adverts, AdMob receives your device's advertising identifier along with
technical information such as device type, and it may use this to select adverts
and measure them. It never receives your pictures. How Google handles this is
described at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can
reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings under Privacy, Ads.
Pro removes the adverts, and with them the only network use in the app. On a Pro
installation EdgeMorph AI makes no network requests whatsoever.
PURCHASES
Pro is a subscription sold through Google Play. Payment is handled entirely by
Google; we never see your payment details. The app asks Google Play only whether
the current account has an active subscription, and stores the yes-or-no answer
on the device.
PERMISSIONS
INTERNET - used only to fetch adverts. Not used by the detector.
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID - required by AdMob to access the
advertising identifier.
The app requests no access to your location, contacts, microphone, camera or
files beyond the individual pictures you pick.
CHILDREN
EdgeMorph AI is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect
information from them.
CHANGES
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new
date at the top.
