My part : Research, program and brief team
"Teri" is a robot assistant for elderly people who are interested in raising a dog at home.
The phenomenon of loneliness among the elderly is common and unpleasant.
Many adults are interested in adopting a dog in order to relieve loneliness but
avoid it due to the physical effort and responsibility involved.
Scent stickers to create closeness with the dog
Internal composition
"Teri" helps to bridge the adult's abilities with the dog's needs and assists in many actions such as taking the dog for a walk, providing reminders at mealtimes, collecting the feces and providing information on required periodic treatments.
Interface
In addition, the robot connects users in the same area through an app and offers them to travel together, what creates a platform of community and connection between users.
The users can also receive remote assistance from family members/volunteers connected to the application.
