It's On Us
It's On Us
Semesterial & Singular project
"It's On Us" is an educational home board game designed for children in ages 8-15 and their parents.
The game teaches coping strategies, resistance tactics, and prevention of bullying and social rejection.
"In 60% of the classes in Israel there was a boycott against at least one child" (Taub center)
The purpose of the game is to provide tools to encourage dialogue between parents and children
on the subject of bullying and social rejection in schools, after-school activities, and on social media.

Front
From the lectures I attended in "Matzamihim" center, a large center in Israel that develops models for reducing social violence, I recognized that the idea of strengthening the community and the families through outreach activities could fit into my working method in the project. This information built the basis for the content of the game, which mostly focuses on the method in which the children resolve conflicts from their personal experience.

The game is based on the concept of "Monopoly", the motivation to solve as many conflicts as possible
comes from the need to accumulate "houses" and thus win the game!
Parental guidance provides the children with a supportive and attentive environment that eables interaction, cooperation, and sharing between parents and children.
