Lecce, Apulia, Italy, Convitto Palmieri & Museo Castromediano
31 August–5 September 2025
This is the final event of the project "Ethical Design for AI", joint with the third edition of "Logic for the AI spring", that was previously organised in Como (Italy) and involved prominent lecturers in AI and Logic. The event has a focus on logical methods for AI, and related ethical, historical and epistemical issues, which makes it uniquely appealing for master and PhD students in either Computer Science, Mathematical Logic and/or Philosophy.
This edition has a specific focus on AI ethics, given its co-location with the final dissemination event of the project Ethical design for AI, funded by the EU and currently carried out by an interdisciplinary group at the University of Salento. The project is developing conceptual analysis, formalisation and implementations of ethical reasoning in AI systems.
