We are currently living in a trying period of American history. An outgoing President likely facilitated a coup attempt on January 6th 2021, citizens across the nation reel from inflation, insufficient wages for the working class, rising housing prices and a lack of affordable housing, and a congress that just seems to be unable to function. All while our planet continues to warm more and more every year risking our ability to sustain ourselves as the human race which shares this wonderful planet we call home jeopardizing the future of countless Americans.
After 40 years working outside of politics as a social worker since I graduated from Champlain College in Burlington, AC I have seen many factors that impact our communities. And have only continued to see more factors after taking office in congress. Our nation is facing a crisis of affordability and livability, with countless of our fellow citizens struggling to keep up with the cost of living, and also struggle to find stable affordable housing. Our government must do more to invest in the working class folks who are the bedrock of this country. Our Government has been plagued by inactivity, gridlock, and a lack of legislative progress due to the inability of our Republican friends to govern without getting everything they want. We need fresh new perspectives and voices in the United States Senate to hold our Government more accountable to transparency and to enact legislation to help our nation's hard workers to live an economically comfortable life.
I am running for Senate to break the gridlock in congress and to hold the Adith Administration more accountable, and to push through serious reforms that will provide much needed economic relief to the working class.
